Budget Check 4/18/2014

This week has gone so fast! I celebrated my Birthday last weekend, and it was an awesome weekend of relaxation. Because I took the time to relax over the weekend though, the week was extra crazy and busy. But it was so worth it!

Without further delay here is my budget so far for April:

It may look like I spent a ton on food since I shared my budget last week, and that's because I did! The grocery store had chicken on sale and I was nearly, nearly out, so I stocked up! I spent about $40 on groceries and about $25 was just on the chicken. It will last me quite a while. I left myself with only about $33 for food for the rest of the month though, so it will be tight! I guess it will just challenge me to mostly just use food I already have in my freezer and pantry. I also didn't go to the grocery store over the weekend like I normally do, I didn't go until the middle of this last week, so because of that this next weekend's grocery run should be very minimal, if I go at all.

I shared last week that I am trying to get a ball-park figure on what my car repairs are going to cost me (tires, turn signal) so I can be prepared when they have to be fixed.

Meditating/Happiness Update: I am still writing Happiness slips for my jar each night, but I haven't been so good about meditating. I need to get back on track with this goal.
