I am trying to get a ball-park figure on what my car repairs are going to cost me (tires, turn signal) so I can be prepared when they have to be fixed. At this point, I am planning on replacing the tires first, as the the turn signal is still functioning and is more just a hassle than a safety issue.

I don't think there are any surprises in my budget table above, but if you have questions, just put a shout-out in the comments below.

Meditating/Happiness Update: I have now meditated and written "Happiness" slips two nights in a row. I'm on a roll :)

Note: I am thinking about starting a style blog to get a better use of my wardrobe, especially since I won't be buying many (hopefully any) new clothes this year. (Only if something is totally worn out or gets too big.) Let me know if you'd be interested in reading a style blog written by me! :)

Another Note: If you are interested in guest-posting at Shoeaholicnomore, email me at shoeaholicnomore[at]gmail[dot]com!

Hi Shoe!
I would love to read a style blog :). Also, happy early birthday!

I am going to follow your lead and do a budget check in weekly. From reading your budget check in's, I have found them helpful in creating my own budget template.

cheers,
Jen

Hi Jen! Thanks for the feedback! I'm glad you find my weekly budget check's helpful, they sure help me stay on track of my spending better than waiting a whole month to anaylze my info. :)

As far as the style blog goes, I think I'm going to focus on using my wardrobe to its maximum and how to mix and match to come up with the most outfits. I think it will be helpful to document some of my ideas for my own future use as well. Also, since I won't be getting many, if any, new clothes I'm going to have to get creative as things cease to fit (getting too big) and/or get worn out!

Have a great weekend!

Happy, happy birthday to you, SHNM! I think you're doing great on the budget, especially the food expenses so far. Keep up the good work. :-)

Thanks Laurie! I think I may go even more strict with my food spending in the coming months, I NEED to MAKE myself eat some of the food out of my freezer before it's no good...

Thanks Debt Debs! I am trying not to beat myself up over, but just learn from it and move on. I can't change it now, I can only learn from it in the future.
